@theadventureaddicts: the final day 💕🏔️✨ this trip was unlike any other we have ever done, and I will never ever forget these 72 miles in the high sierra. we spent 5 days crossing from the western sierra (sequoia national park) to the eastern sierra, and finished today on Mount Whitney, the highest mountain in the lower 48. this scenery was some of the most stunning and pristine we have ever seen, and for the most part, the trail was quite serene. We met some lovely people, swam in lots of lakes, basked in a riverside hot spring, and ate some homemade meals (more on these soon!!). this was a last minute adventure for us, and there were a million reasons we could have said no: not enough time, not enough training, worry about the weather… But I’m so glad we just went for it, because it was one of my favorite trips to date!!! I didn’t film day 4, but it was our shortest hike of the trip at 9 miles, so we mostly spent it lounging around camp, at lakes we passed. Kelby fished, I water colored.
