@luxiefitdaily: We were told that progress meant refinement. We were told that moving away from the earth, away from the raw, and into the industrial facility was an upgrade. But look at where that "progress" has left us. Today, a 900-gram bag of unrefined, mineral-rich Celtic sea salt—the exact kind of salt our grandmothers used without a second thought—costs 10 euros. Meanwhile, the chemically altered, stripped, and bleached refined table salt is handed to us for 89 cents. We see it everywhere. Real leather sandals that used to be the standard are now a luxury item costing 62 euros, completely out of reach for the ordinary person. In their place? Cheap, synthetic plastics that cost pennies to make and flood the market. Think about the irony of our modern economy: The items that require less industrial intervention cost the most. The items that are heavily processed, altered, and stripped cost almost nothing. We were trained to look at the natural world as "primitive." But if it was so primitive, why is it that only the wealthy can afford it now? Nothing given to us almost for free comes without a hidden cost. Sometimes, we pay that price with our health. It’s time to question the pricing structure of modern life. The natural was never the problem. 👇 Watch the full video essay below. . . . #luxiedailyfit #InformedChoices #Questionscience #questioneverything #corporateaccountability

When I was young… my Dad used to take us to the Bar Beach, at there at the shore… u will find very light brown salt. We pack in bags and take it home to cook with. Now u can never find salt at any of our beaches.

It's in abundance in Benin republic, in fact that's what they eat here, they're just trying to import the refine one from Nigeria little by little, I initially don't like using it because I believe it's not pure because it's not always white in colour, the colour is like blended melon not knowing that it's the healthiest
