Prices went up during COVID due to supply chain issues. Then they went up because of inflation. Then they went up because of various livestock/crop issues (bird flu, droughts, etc.). Then they went up again because of the tariffs. And our government (all sides/parties/factions) let them. What’s the step beyond “this is crazy” because that’s what stage of hell we’re in 🫠

And honestly it is cheaper/easier to order out sometimes. I can go grab a meal for my wife and I and spend $30 but sometimes if I need groceries for one meal I’ve already spent $50.

And it’s the one category where you can only cut out so much. You can cut back on eating out, clothing, etc. but at the end of the day you need groceries no matter what.
