i literally dont understand ts. both are profitable and proven ways of trading. trade whatever you understand better, and what you feel more comfortable with. as long as ur making money who gives a fuck how others are trading.

Many trading "gurus" avoid or harshly criticize the use of order flow because it requires a high degree of technical commitment and does not lend itself easily to promises of easy profits.
The main reasons for this aversion include:
Marketing Difficulty: It's much more difficult to sell miraculous courses and indicators based on order flow than simple chart patterns or standard setups. It requires a lot of time in front of the monitor and discourages beginners seeking instant wealth.
Information overload: Order flow charts (like footprints) are dense with granular data. Many trainers who teach classic price action (e.g., support and resistance) consider these details unnecessary background noise, leading to overanalysis.
Context and interpretation: Order flow isn't a magic formula; it requires a deep understanding of the market context and is often used only to confirm entries around key levels. Many gurus who lack a true mastery of these tools prefer to discredit them.
Need for centralized markets: It only works well in markets with a single, transparent central ledger (like CME Futures). It is less reliable in decentralized markets like forex.
Additional Costs: Analyzing order flow requires expensive specialized software and purchasing real-time market data, making it difficult to promote strategies based solely on free brokers.

What really effects price movement aggressive buy/sell order and passive buy/sell orders. And most important structural parameters are imbalance/acceptance, cause and effect, effort vs result. Orderflow tools are by far the best way to visualize data that shows you those things. Without good knowledge of market structure, your strategy and your tools orderflow is just noise.
