You are an AMAZING Mom. you hold them babies ACCOUNTABLE for their behavior everytime they act out. You NEVER let it slide or make excuses. Kids are going to do what they want even if you punish them. They all go through that stage. some when they are younger, some when they are pre teens and the rest don't peak that behavior until they are older. Baby you are AMAZING.

have you thought about taking Sofia to a therapist she might have O.D.D that would explain why punishments don't seem to work for her and why she always acts out

It’s okay girl sometimes disappointment and anger is apart of parenting and motherhood and it’ll be fine I just hope Sophia gets herself together .

It can definitely be a behavior disorder. My middle sister was like that. They were calling my parents constantly. And she was put out of several daycares. Make an appointment with a behavior specialist

No matter what Ms Ellen says stop bringing Sophia back to her. She clearly doesn’t respect Ms Ellen because she knows she can’t keep up with her. Sophia needs to be in a daycare center with a more structured environment.

I say this with so much respect for you (I’m not a mom but I’m sure being a mom to littles is hard af). Have you thought about behavioral therapy for Sophia? She might need a little extra support and it could be helpful for you to learn how to redirect bad/dangerous behaviors 💕

I think what’s most likely is Sophia really enjoyed the 1:1 time with you that was supposed to be punishment. She’s a smart girl and her acting out with Ms. Ellen is her way to get closer to you. As a psychologist who work with children, I would suggest that you use 1:1 time as a reward versus punishment. You’re going great mama! Sophia is strong willed but it’s going to serve her so well in life. Just redirect her. 🫶🏽🫶🏽
