I studied nursing at Plymouth university and I would absolutely not recommend it to anyone, the staff were not supportive my personal tutor went on annual leave every time there was an assignment due / result came out or just didn’t rely to me when I asked questions and you basically had to teach yourself everything calling it elite is wild 😅

Doesn’t really matter which university you go to. Nobody will ever ask, as long as you have a pin and the placement teams are employed by the teaching hospitals, not the universities

Why is Nottingham in good? They’ve “paused” the MH nursing course and are now sacking off most of the lecturing team so when it comes to next year the course will no longer be sustainable so it’ll have no choice but to close it.

Graduated without honours at Leeds Beckett….. Band 6 after 12 moths and Band 7 after 21 month… university is a total waste of time n s a money making racket !!! Apply yourself, work hard and don’t throw sickies…… you’ll be rewarded accordingly ❤️❤️👌🏻👌🏻

All you need is a qualification and the energy to keep showing up. Honestly nobody cares where you trained. (I have been a nurse 33yrs btw.)
