Grandpa had a 1978 or 79 4440 was the first tractor he bought new stayed on the farm till 2009 when he traded it for the same price he paid for it. It was the chore tractor planter tractor and hay tractor its whole life on our feedlot. Had over 20k hours on it

Yup this 1972 IH 664 my grandfather bought it used in 1973 with 500hrs in 1980 he traded it in on our 1980 IH 686 (which we still have) we knew it went about 20mins south of the dealer we traded it in at and lost track of it. Didn’t know the serial number either. We didn’t realize how rare those tractors were when it was traded in. So in 2020 during Covid I was on tractor house and one popped up in farmersville Texas (I’m in Ontario Canada btw) so we bought it never thinking we’d find our original. In 2022 I got a call from another collector saying he thinks he’s found our 664 at an auction about 3.5hrs west of us. He sent us pictures. My dad looked at the pictures and knew it was ours from the home made step on it and the cut down muffler to get in the old shed we had. It still had the dealer decal from where we traded it in. So we were the successful bidder in the auction. (Paid more then we wanted but we made certain we got it back) fast forward to 2025 I found 664 serial number one on Facebook marketplace near Tampa Florida and put

Our 1967 farmall 706 gas it was the tractor. I learned to drive by myself, but we ended up selling it when gas prices went up

my dad's 966. bought in 1980 at Vincent farm equipment and sold in 1992 at jacobs auction . no records anywhere. dealership changed hands and auction company doesn't have records that far back

Chances are it’s found the scrap yard by now. ‘66 vista propane. Serial number ending in 023. It was converted to a wide front before being sold. We’ve been looking for it forever and it’s even been in heritage iron. We’ve been close, but it’s never been the one

Great grandpa’s John Deere 4055, sold on his estate sale when he passed away. Really wanted it but a guy who does a cheap paint job and cab kit bought it and resold it. I would like to have it but it’ll never be the same.☹️

i found grandpa's 720 that sold on his estate sale and bought it back, still want to find grandpa's syncro side console 4020. i also managed to find my other grandpa's powershift 4020 and acquire it back just need to find the time to restore it.

I got my great grandfathers mfwd 4020 with the L wood front end and and M&W turbo kit if you know when I can find and L Wood front end and a Turbo kit let me know

my dad's first loader tractor that he was involved in buying was a MM JetStar 3 with an EZee On loader. He raves about the loader itself to this day. He gave up trying to find HIS JetStar, but he found one very similar and bought it. We took family pictures with it this year

Ive tried to track down several, the one I really want to find is my dads old Moline Vista G1000 diesel. That trail is beyond ice cold though so Ive come to the realization Im not going to find it and just get any Vista G1000 that I can find/afford. I did manage to track down an old Super M farmall that was my grandads but the guy that has it wont sell it. That old farmall has a funny back story, one of these days I may tell it.

300 hydro versatile traded it in at rugby equipment ND in 1996 or 97 has three remotes would love to find oh and the mirror was broke when we traded it in

Looking for dads 1981 1086. He bought it brand new and remember the day he bought it. Sold it to the farmer he went to work for out at Great Bend Ks. Last time I seen it was 1986. It would have a Circle K sticker branded in the paint on the doors.

we had a Farmall a with the woods mower that we used to mow the yard with and wind up trading it to a guy for a Farmall m with m end up being locked up and that guy end up just pulling the mower off of it and I guess that guy sold it to someone else and it was my favorite tractor cuz it was the first one I learned to drive on and I still haven't been able to find

yes, I found my Grandfather's John Deere 70 gas he bought new. Gpa sold it for $300 in 86, I gave $2400 to get it back 29 yrs later in rougher shape
