Over the past five years, one message has become incredibly clear: Hospice nurses haven't stopped loving hospice. They're asking for the opportunity to practice hospice the way they know it should be practiced. The survey revealed the same themes year after year: • Too much documentation • Too many unpaid hours • Caseloads that don't reflect patient acuity • Increasing burnout • Less time with patients and families But it also revealed something even more important... Hospice nurses care deeply about this profession, and they're willing to speak up because they want hospice to be better, for nurses, for patients, and for families.
