If you read the very first line of my post, you’ll notice I said “Men can also…” The keyword there is “also”. It doesn’t mean women don’t have their own issues. They absolutely do. I can only speak from my experience as a woman. Now, here’s my actual point. A lot of men in my comment section keep saying, “Women only care about money.” I’m not denying that some women do. Those women exist. But let’s remove money from the equation for a second. If money wasn’t a factor, what else do you genuinely bring to the table? Can you hold an intelligent conversation? Can you communicate when things get difficult? Do you have emotional intelligence? Can you make your partner feel emotionally safe? Are you kind? Are you thoughtful? Are you intentional? Do you check in on her..not because she asked, but because you genuinely care? Being a provider is valuable. No one is taking that away at all. But a healthy relationship needs more than financial provision. Most women today also work, earn money, build businesses, and support themselves. what makes you a good partner beyond your income? That’s the conversation I’m trying to have. Because money can build a house. It can’t replace character, communication, emotional maturity, or genuine connection. This post is not just about money, it’s about character.

This works both ways lol 😂. There are plenty of women who can’t hold meaningful conversations either. Some reply with “lol”, “okay”, “wyd”, expect you to carry the whole chat, show no interest in your goals, judge a man by his wallet, play mind games, and still expect deep conversations. It’s about the individual, not the gender.
