Are bachelor degrees useful in themselves in the US? Here in Denmark, unless you're doing a trade like nurse, which has it's own "trade bachelor" with no graduate degree on top of it, a bachelor is de facto not counted as a degree. If you say "I have a degree in psychology" everyone is going to assume that it's a graduate degree, and if it's revealed only to be a bachelors, people will consider you close to a lier.

I have 6 weeks off every summer and lie with my butt in the French or Spanish sun, with a glass of wine in my hand... I probably earn a lot less, but I certainly enjoy life…. But if studying is your hobby and passion, you should definitely do it.
