@its.anya.lacey: People always freak out when you don’t text them back right away or when you randomly disappear in the middle of a conversation, and honestly…I get it. But I promise it’s almost never personal, I’m just out here trying to survive my own brain every single day. I have the memory of a goldfish and would probably forget my own head if it wasn’t permanently attached to my body. I’ll open your message, think of the perfect response, get distracted for two seconds, and suddenly it’s three days later. Then I’m too embarrassed to reply because now it feels awkward, so the cycle just keeps repeating.
