Curious question, not judging, was one of your early caregivers high in narcissistic traits?

Have you seen Foyles Philavery, a collection of unusual and rare terms? It’s the dictionary Cathrine O’hare used to give her character the florid language. Got it for my birthday and I’ve picked up a bunch of new vocabulary <3 this word belongs there.

Exulansis is why I spend 15 minutes crafting the perfect response and then delete it instead of posting 😂

Have you ever backed out of leaving a comment online because you realized it would take a huge paragraph to explain a nuanced point without upsetting anyone, and ultimately you can't please everyone, so you give up? Is that a form of exulansis fatigue?

All my thoughts are tied to like a scenarios or ideas and concepts idek how to explain it - great at analogies apparently but explaining it in a way that can be understood easily for everyone is hard bc I hit a wall where I feel there isn’t a more simple way to explain something. I already thought of the most efficient way to explain it then it’s out of my hands lol. I just end up stopping.

"Exulansis fatigue" sounds like that's how Eulers number function in math. e= 2.718281828 shows how continuous growth decay. so I can only use so much energy (growth decay) to explain myself before it doesn't help you or me.

The ire and anger people express when I use words they don't know is odd. The expectation that I assume they are more ignorant than I in this aspect is weird.

this isnt a dig at women. just the ones ive dated. but Ive found myself doing that same thing in relationships where they cant or refuse to listen to the words im saying and apply them to their understanding of me. does this word work for that if if both people are neurodivergent

when you said, "feel the sound of the waves and I feel it on my wrists." I've never felt that before but I can imagine because I'm not committed to the idea that everyone else is wrong and what I feel is all there is. what the word for being open enough to others experiences that you can experience it if even just in imagination?

high IQ needs to be understood as a type of neuro-divergence. NT literally cannot experience the world the same as high IQ

If the goal of communication is truly to be understood, your advanced vocabulary is actually counterproductive in today’s dumbed down society.

I used the word "recompense" when speaking to HR today. She told me she needed me to slow down so she could look that word up.
That's me with the big words....I'm the one fighting for my part time seasonal job with no benefits. 🙄

You call it fatigue, but there's a bit of grief mixed in there in knowing that somebody lacks either the capacity or willingness to meet you no matter how hard you try while wanting to be seen, known and understood.

for those who are curious: word isn’t to be found in any mainstream dictionaries because it was coined by author John Koenig for his “Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows”. He wanted to fill the linguistic gaps in our words to describe emotions and our inner lives.

Use "exulansis" in a sentence:
Exulansis is the reason i act my responses the day before so i don't crashout.
