@interestingengineering: At the 2026 World AI Conference in Shanghai, Chinese brain-computer interface unicorn BrainCo unveiled what it calls the world's first integrated "brain-to-robot" AI platform — letting a person control a robot using only their thoughts, without moving a muscle or undergoing surgery. A lightweight EEG headset reads the user's brain signals; AI algorithms decode the intent and translate it into action, so a robotic arm can reach out and grab a cup on command.
