They do recommend salt for POTS but your heart does not try to stop.. your heart rate is typically higher than normal

“Go to a different one. What’re they doing?” Caleb it’s the medical field… it took 19 years for my diagnoses. Which is also POTS, hEDS, MCAS, fibromyalgia and PCOS. Docs never take females seriously. Both male or female doctors. Doctor’s who listen are impossible to find.

There are different kinds of pots… I have pots and it causes me to pass out and my heart stops as well. It’s called vasovagal syncope. A lot of people with pots have that and yes salt is what doctors tell you to take

It’s a low blood pressure thing. They literally will prescribe salt tablets lol. But she’s describing it in a way that of course Caleb is going to roll his eyes because it is not ‘restarting’ her heart lol. If salt could do that, we wouldn’t have to shock people
