@its.anya.lacey: I’m more than happy to cook, clean, and take care of my future husband because that’s the kind of wife I genuinely want to be. That being said, being a traditional man doesn’t magically excuse basic respect, common courtesy, or acting like an adult. If you constantly leave your shoes right in the doorway for me to trip over instead of taking two extra seconds to put them away, that doesn’t scream leadership or consideration. Traditional relationships are supposed to be built on mutual respect, not one person creating unnecessary work for the other. There’s a huge difference between serving your spouse out of love and being treated like your effort is expected while theirs is optional.
