Nooooo. Get a switch 2. Play pokopia, animal crossing, breath of the wild, any pokemon game. You can also get Minecraft on it. If you don’t have a big console, you can get Fortnite.

Absolutely not. I enjoy tomodachi life on my switch but it’s only fun for about 20 minutes a day. I already have had a switch for years and have tons of other games that my kids and I play. In NO way is it worth it to spend $500 on a game system and the game itself for just tomadachi life.

For just one game? Never. But disagree with the people who quit. I run four islands and check near daily if not multiple times daily on them. I loved the original game too even though it’s not the most exciting. But also get animal crossing and other similar cute games imo

Its best if youre an artist / neurodivergent / are a nerd / have an obscure sense of humor. If not then you likely wont find much use. even so if you do fall into any or all of those categories its still a wonderful quick check in game, when Im waiting for something else, or in between other games as a pallate cleanser

Hate yall coz all of you were saying yes months ago when ppl asked this.. I made a comment about how yall were gonna get bored and start hating on it eventually because y'all our trend hoppers and didn't play when you were younger, and aren't used to the style of game. I personally love my switch that I bought for tomodatchi life only, because I actually like video games!! I've gotten Pokémon games, downloaded free games, animal crossing, and there's so many more I could get. My answer three months ago when someone asked this was "get the switch if you like video games" and that's still my answer

So I did exactly this and I’m having a blast! Some things in the game get repetitive but if you’re a creative person the design elements of it keep it interesting and fun!

if you have a pc you can emulate it! i wouldnt reallyy reccommend getting a switch JUST for tomodachi but if you think youd use it from some other games too then go for it lol

Do I regret buying the game no, did I get my moneys worth yes, but it is definitely not worth it if you don’t already own a switch or don’t plan on buying any more games

babe get a switch lite is the PERFECT thing for casual gaming (tomadachi life especially) and is a fraction of the cost!

I love Tamodatchi life, and honestly only thought I’d play animal crossing on the switch when it first came out, but then I got into Pokémon and all these other cozy games like it, I got a switch lite, so I wasn’t spending too much and when I was sick I could play in bed. I personally would, (idk if they are gonna make a switch 2 lite) but the regular lite you can get pretty cheap, and you never know how many games you’ll end up loving with it. 😂 Idk everyone is saying no, but like, I did that with animal crossing and it was the best thing for my mental health. 😂
