Yes! And I got yelled at by a recess aid in primary school for playing basketball with a girl and holding onto the basketball for a moment to say I’ll go once then she’ll go once and we’ll keep switching back and forth like that. 🤦♀️😒

it's driving me up the wall that people are treating autistic sense of justice as moral superiority because it's inherently flawed. Autistic justice is not relative to the actual justice at all. It's apart of the disability for a reason.

The phrase "Life's not fair" sends me into a rage. Yes I know life isnt fair. THAT DOESNT MEAN THAT WE SHOULDNT BE TRYING TO MAKE IT FAIR. The right thing to do is for each of us to strive to make things fair. And humans who dont try are the WORST

I had a conversation with my third grade teacher because I didn’t think it was fair that kids who initially got the answer wrong when she asked them a question would get skittles when they finally got the right answer when I didn’t get skittles for getting it right the first time. I think she was trying to make me feel guilty by saying “then I just won’t give out any skittles” but it backfired because I thought that was acceptable.

I think both can be true as the vast majority of the regular anti-🧊 prötesterș in my city of Portland, Oregon are clearly neurodivergent. I feel like my autistic justice also comes out in a mentality of "if I have to follow the rules, so does everyone else." 😂

Me as a kid geting upset whenever we got a box of doughnuts because i would try to have 1 doughnut for breakfast for 3 days (12 doughnuts, 4 family members), but my third doughnut was never there the third morning because the other three family members would just graze bits and pieces out of the box without considering who had which or how many. And somehow my self control was the problem, not the lack of self control from everybody else.

It’s like, yes it CAN be a sense of justice like the way Superman defines justice, but in practice most of the time it’s about mundane stuff. Some autistic people are civil rights lawyers that work tirelessly… and others just get really petty about who’s responsibility it is to keep certain parts of the house clean

That gift part was totally Sheldon.😂 For clarification, I have AuDHD, my daughter is autistic, and I have been watching a lot of The Big Bang Theory lately. I see a lot of Autism like behavior in Sheldon. I'm still unsure if that was intentional or not. Autism was never discussed on that show. Anyway, that's why I found it funny.

Yep, the almost obsessive focus on fairness! This reminds me of when I was little—I used to get so upset to the point of crying when something wasn't fair, and my parents would be like, "Why are you getting so upset? It's not that serious!" But to me, it was just like, "But that's not fair!" Even to this day, I have those same internalized feelings that trigger a feeling of anxiousness; while I may not cry anymore, I still feel anxious frustration whenever I witness unfairness, even if I'm not the one in the crossfire.

if we have a certain amount of treats I'm not just gonna eat one whenever I want because then if I take too many I'm greedy and if I take to little I'm being cheated out of them. so we have to assign everyone the amount that they're allowed to have so I know if I'm the asshole or not
