No. That’s not what they’re saying. When somebody says 80 or 90 or 95% of Jews are in agreement, they are saying that Jews agree with the proposition that like any other class of people, whether Irish or Italian or Azeri or Kurdish, Jews should have the ability to self determine their government in lands they are indigenous and ancestrally, rooted to. Most Jews do tend to agree on this even if they choose, intentionally for social or political reasons not to embrace the moniker of zionist. Treating all human beings as equal in value and potential is not the same as supporting ethnic cleansing. For the record, Palestinians also deserve self determination over their governance.

The point about bacon made me think of when I was working at Wendy’s and somebody asked me if the baconader was kosher, and I stared at them for a second. I said “no bacon is not kosher. Neither is cheese and meat together” and they got mad at me 😭😭😭

I think the brightest definition of Zionism is that there should be some sort of special passport analogous to the Red Cross passport for Jewish people, Roma people, and others at risk which is technically a Zionist position all the way to an ultra orthodox apartheid state

I'm not Jewish but I've figured this out. We don't have the right to tell Jewish people what Zionist or Zionism means to them as a people or as individuals. It isn't our word. I have come to the conclusion that Jewish people believe Israel has the right to exist and many use their term.... zionist. Do Jews that consider themselves Zionists approve of the genocide of others so they can exist? Of course not. Zionism comes in degrees just like most things. We do NOT have the right to tell you what zionist means. #Stopantisemitism

The funny part is, nobody remembers the reason there are so many Jews in the US is because historically American Jews have been anti-zionist. Like they were against the basic forming of Israel in the first place. That's why the US kept their Jews while other countries lost them.
