@rescue.ranch0: 💔 He Was Dying Right in Front of Everyone… People walked past him every day. Some looked away. Others couldn’t bear to stop. But no one could imagine the pain this little soul was carrying. A terrible growth had consumed the side of his face. The wound had become infested with maggots, eating away at his flesh while he was still alive. Every breath was painful. Every day was a fight just to survive. He never deserved this. No innocent dog should have to suffer alone, abandoned, terrified, and in unimaginable pain. When we found him, there wasn’t a second to waste. He was rushed for emergency veterinary care, where the team immediately began cleaning his wound, removing the maggots, controlling the infection, and doing everything possible to ease his suffering. His road to recovery is long. He still needs ongoing treatment, medication, wound care, nutritious food, and close veterinary monitoring. We are refusing to give up on him.
