if it is a 96 or newer Silverado you'll be back in there. just cut it all the way and put hinges on it

It’s 6 bolts and disconnect the harness I do it in less than 45 minutes to pull the bed

I've never chose to do that , not in four decades of experience. Theres risk involved in everything , some risk you don't see. It would have been a lot cooler, if he wouldn't have been so sloppy on the cut.

dropped my fuel tank in my Tahoe for a fuel pump. full tank of fuel too. could have been worse. replaced the hardware for the tank and got it done. I don't like holes in my stuff...

Oh, I know that we did it in my grandpa’s car that changed the fuel pump because if you would drop the tank, you’d have to take the driveshaft off before dropping the tank

I did one on my car and everyone said it would be easy, 3 different tools and hours later I finally got the job done. So simple of a job made stupid for no reason 🤣
