the only thing that works is printing out a picture of it or if you want the original you can trace every single line with a fineliner

putting any kind of coating over it won't work, stuff like nail polish creates heat when it dries, which is what causes the picture to fade in the first place

just go over everything in an ink pen not a ballpoint, its got to be like fountain pen ink or something or it will bleed, then cover it in tape, can't use ballpoint because the sticky glue will make the pen bleed

Try this! It's spray varnish, I use it for my paintings and when I draw with charcoal or pencil paper and I don't want it to drool. You quickly spray a thin layer outside and you let it dry 1 hour or 2. The thinner the layer is the less the paper will gild

Ive seen so much of these and the bad advise makes me sad. make a picture or make a copy with a regular office printer on regular paper. Reciepts are 'printed' with heat, on heat activated paper. whatever you do with it, it will fade! lamination, resin, laquer all give heat when you apply them. lamination without heat, you will have to push a tool over it to get it flat, and that also creates heat from friction. putting it in any kind of sleeve also wont keep the heat out, and it will still fade overtime. Best chance to keep and use it in a creative/photo book is to copy it on regular paper or scan it and print it on different types of artistic paper, like vellum. keep the original scan or a picture if you want to keep it for a long time. ✨♥️
