Eating animals is fine in moderation -> Eating animals is wrong I had an underlying feeling of guilt whenever I ate any meat and convinced myself that eating meat in moderation was okay. It was just an excuse to enjoy myself at the suffering another life. When I was child, I watched a goat get sacrificed in-person. This moment has stuck with me since and it is what I think about whenever I get cravings for meat. Seeing a life pass in front of me was terrifying and made me realise what I was actually eating. At 25 (now), I stopped making excuses to eat meat and animal products. When there are more ethical alternatives, that don't require the sacrifice of another life and are healthier for my long-term health, why would I consume animal products?
