That’s very true. Unfortunately, if you don’t know your worth, grew up in a dysfunctional family and watched abuse being justified your entire life, it’s virtually impossible to NOT be in an abusive marriage. It took me 20 years to recognize “the love of my life” was a monster. And it’s taken me 6 years to unfuck myself and unbecome what he made me.
