How in the fuck is she charged with murder and her doctors & therapists aren’t charged with MAL PRACTICE!’ Of the pharmacist who signed off on her COCKTAIL of controlled medications. I don’t get it. I was in pharmacy for 13 years and as a technician I have REFUSED to dispense, bill or sell people drugs that I felt were unethically prescribed.

Idk what to think either. It’s tragic either way, but what gets me is the whole having her husband pick dinner up, go to CVS, and used a tracker etc to estimate the time he’d be gone. Seems a little premeditated. For those saying he should be charged, that’s insane!

She was failed by her medical professionals, and her CHILDREN were failed by her medical professionals. She should be permanently institutionalized, not put in jail. If that had happened to begin with, this wouldn’t have happened. I cannot fathom doing what she did, but again, she was NOT well. I have empathy for her, I do. This is just a tragedy in all ways.

I feel for her. She tried very hard. Mental health for mothers needs to be taken more seriously. Yes, it's terrible what happened and is heartbreaking but her and the dad needed more support so she was never left alone. Post partum depression and psychosis can last quite awhile. She should not have been given that cocktail either as that could've made it worse.

if she knew the meds gave her side effects with hallucinations, why didn't she just conscientiously stop taking that med. She knows 13 different medications are too much. She is a nurse. I don't get it.

This is such a tough case. I think there’s enough proof to say it was premeditated but I also believe she was 100% failed by her medical team and would’ve never been in this situation if she was given the help she was seeking!!

As someone that suffered from Postpartum, I can absolutely understand how a person could get to this point. I had never heard of this before I had it and had no help with it. I was ashamed of the thoughts I was having and did not feel like I could talk to anyone about it. It is the most horrible thing imaginable!!!!

This poor woman was trying so hard. I cannot even imagine the overwhelming and horrific mental state she was in. I have so much empathy for her. I have struggled with anxiety that felt so crippling; I just can’t imagine how much worse this was.

None of the meds she was prescribed were for psychosis (i’m assuming Seroquel was given for insomnia) so if she was really hearing voices, why weren’t they treated the multiple times she was seen by psychiatrist. She also kept journals that showed no evidence of psychosis either.

We've GOT to start putting more emphasis on the 2 new FDA approved PPD medications!! WHY are they not being talked about more?! I've done so much research and everyone I speak to has never even heard of them!! One is a pill you take for 2 weeks after giving birth and the other goes directly into your IV at the hospital! You can even both BOTH as they do different things. Let's start taking action toward preventing it from ever getting to this point 😭

I am in disbelief of how many medical professionals failed her and these precious babies! I can’t decide based on what we know whether or not she should be found guilty and am thankful to not be on the jury, but one thing I know, those medication companies and doctors/nurses/facilities should be held accountable. Why did nobody help, and every professional she encountered made it worse.
