I can see both sides, honestly. She wasn’t entirely upfront about the situation. She should have let you know it was her ex. But You gave her the impression you wanted to play along, even said in your post you played along because you liked a little magic/trickery…all the way until you said you’d had a few drinks and the dance floor opened up. Then you turned on a dime. I don’t think she was trying to make her ex jealous as much as she was trying to make herself look less alone.
