Very true.Since my husband passed away in April last year not even one person from his family has called to genuinely ask how my children are doing. Everything my husband left behind was taken, yet no one seems to care about the children he left behind. Sometimes I just sit and ask myself, where are all the people my late husband sacrificed so much for? The people whose school fees he paid, whose accommodation he provided and the many lives he touched. When he was alive, they were always around him. Today, they are nowhere to be found. This journey has also taught me a painful lesson about life and politics. As long as you are alive people celebrate you, praise you, and want to associate with you. The moment you pass away, they attend your funeral, do the file past and burial and then move on with their lives. Very few ever come back to check on your children or ask how they are surviving.What hurts me the most is that sometimes you don't even go to people asking for money. You simply ask for help to get justice, yet all you get is endless back and forth with no real support.But one thing I hold on to is my faith. I believe that one day God will hear my silent cries and answer my prayers. He sees everything, even the tears that no one else notices. My daily prayer is that no child should ever have to go through what my children are going through. May God grant every parent long life, good health and the grace to be there for their children for as long as possible

Very true oooo, my mum passed last year and I gave birth just this June , called my mum’s elder sister to come help me the bathing of my baby and other stuffs, she actually came but I suffered, I literally have to do everything by myself. It made me missed my mum so much, I cried my eyes out secretly. I made her leave pretending I was okay and can bath my baby. She know I had surgery but never thought of my mental health. Always pray for your mums to grow in good health oooo.

My dad passed on at 5 and his bro stepped in at 15,he also passed on when I was 24…he was the best…..he will never go to bed if we’re not home yet at night,even on his sick bed.You made me emotional 😭 this morning Keep resting Mr Acheampong 🙏🏾
