@mixmag: Born to teenaged parents and raised on a working-class housing estate in Dundee, the pathway into an electronic music career wasn’t readily accessible for Hannah Laing. After many years of grind spent flyering club nights while underage to working seasons as a rep in Ibiza to balancing her beginnings as a DJ with a full-time job in a dental surgery, the proud Scot hasn’t cut any corners on her way to the top. Now a headline DJ, a UK Top 10-charting producer, and founder of @doof_music - the label, events brand and most recently community studio founded in her hometown - Hannah Laing is an inspiring success story who’s using her international ascent as a platform to bring her people along with her.
