It’s because we know once the baby’s here, we won’t have the time or energy to do it all. So all the works and repairs on the house we’ve put off doing for years needs to be done now or it will never be done. We just have better foresight and know if it doesn’t get done NOW, it never will.

Yes I was the same although I have ADHD and it was an internal battle with my inactive traits and wanting to nest and prepare 😂 husband was sick of Amazon arriving and bank a count going down 😂😂

full on nesting mom here, I have a planned c-section next Wednesday. Earlier today I sobbed my eyes out, desperately, for a good 20min because my husband was sleeping instead of helping me empty my "to-do before the baby arrives". let me tell you it's 8.17 pm here and he is currently washing the outside of the windows... and I'm still angry and sad and desperate

I wasn't done before birth, so I renovated the bedroom with contractions up until we went to the hospital, and the livingroom inbetween breastfeeding the same day we got home 🙃

weirdly i knew this was exactly what would happen, we started saving from the minute we found out separately for this, now im 20 weeks waiting for our week off work in august to build our own wardrobe from scratch, paint, move EVERYTHING. 🤣🤣
