I knew someone at my old job who did that with his amazing super cool wife (she came to the office sometimes) two children in 😭 oh it went hilariously, not even this one woman who was ALSO in an open relationship wanted him! He was so depressed at work every day. Good for him.

I'm of the firm opinion that open relationships only work when they start as open from the beginning. Committing to one person for years, just to try and augment that commitment out of the blue one day, can only ever lead to hurt feelings.
