I don’t really understand the obsession with timing. In addition to DCA, keep a cash reserve ready to deploy and set GTC trades for a drop you’re comfortable with.. 7%, 15%, 20% etc. Does it need to be this complicated? Maybe if you’re waiting to deploy several hundred thousand but most of us aren’t.
