@dadzietv: LIVE UPDATES | NPP General Secretary Justin Frimpong Kodua has explained the party’s position on the judgment against Ashanti Regional Chairman Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi. According to him, the trial judge erred in her ruling. He argued that Chairman Wontumi lawfully acquired the mining lease in question and should not have been held criminally liable simply because another person allegedly used the concession to engage in illegal mining. He maintained that the conviction was politically motivated and described the case as a political witch-hunt.
