@brandon_honda: Paying a premium for a brand doesn't mean you're getting premium quality anymore. We asked our mechanics to name the most overrated tool brands, and they didn't hold back. Comment below with the one tool brand you'll never buy again. #autorepair #mechanictips #autotech #carmaintenance #carguy
Man, he's way off on the rebranding of snap on they're the only ones don't rebrand I live near one of their facilities in murphy, north carolina, I see what comes out there. They're one of my customers

Snap on is the most overrated not worst. Don’t get me wrong I have a lot of snap on tools. But now days there’s a lot better bang for your buck options out there. But you can’t beat their precision tools

snap-on isn't rebranded, you can by tools made by other manufacturers through snap-on, but they dont put thier name on it, also you can tour the facilities the tools. and boxs are made in here in the USA

Snap on for sure. Not because of tool quality but the fact that what they charge is an absolute scam. They're selling a wrench for $30 that cost them $5 to make. When will people wake up and stop buying them?

matco because they rebrand everything they have.. harbor freight may brake alot but you can easily go to the local store and replace same with craftsman and husky and others

He asked which company was worst. He didn’t ask which company’s tools were the worst. Two different questions.

Snap on is arguably the worst. This is because many going well into the thousands in debt for a tool box and hand tools. While all my tools are paid off and I can keep up with a senior tech in my shop that only uses snap on.

I believe Danahar used to make craftsman, gear wrench and Napa hand tools. Once they quit all three of them went to shit.

I’m going to say snap on too. Not because that make bad too. Their hand tools are great. It’s how their sales men are. The Snap-on guy at my shop was trying to bait a brand new kid at my shop to take a loan on a $10,000 box. And I told him buy good tools, a box can come later. And the snap on guy isn’t a franchisee he’s corporate
