This is great! People complain about kids being all over the city loitering and causing trouble. Then, they complain when a space for kids is created. This is a good way to give them something to do that's for THEM. Love it!

I’m all for improving Pittsburgh neighborhoods but we if can’t even keep the pools in Bloomfield and highland park (neighborhood with statically less crime) why would it make sense to open one in homewood? Much better ways to improve a neighborhood for $23 million dollars

Mayor, I've lived in Pittsburgh my entire life. My family and friends are from the East Side of Pittsburgh, and I want to bring attention to the racism that Black residents face daily in the comment sections on your social media posts, as well as on WPXI and KDKA posts. Far too often, hateful and racist comments are left unchecked. Very few people speak up, and I rarely see city leadership publicly addressing it. This is your city and your people. Silence can make it seem like this behavior is acceptable. I'm sure the mayor of New York City wouldn't tolerate this kind of public racism without addressing it. Why should Pittsburgh? Please do something about it. Speak up against hate, encourage respectful dialogue, and show all Pittsburgh residents that racism has no place in our city.
