It’s not safe around your eyes. It’ll kick out your meibomian glands and you’ll suffer either way dry eyes, especially at night. Make sure to put a good layer of aquaphor or vasaline around your eyes using a good margin

Heavy on the twice a week. My skin looks so much healthier when i do it every 3 days then just moisturize in between as opposed to every night

“Is it safe around your eyes” with respect you are totally wrong. The dialogue between dermatologists and ophthalmologists is so poor. Tretinoin can cause your meibomian glands to atrophy and once they’re gone - they’re gone forever. You will have dry eye disease for the rest of your life and will need to constantly put in eye drops. Don’t do it.

Started twice a week, then thrice upon 4th week. Then now daily on 6th week. Never had any purging, I also combines it with my Azelaic acid. Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser > Hyaluronic Acid > AzA+Tret > Moisturizer = My skin loves it and the glow, I love it!

I’m 55 and just started using it. I haven’t broke out. I’ve been using the sandwich method. I do see my capillaries a little bit and my makeup doesn’t look quite as good as it usually does, but I know it’s a process. I’m sticking with it.
