Want another example? He doesn’t like the theater, he doesn’t like multicourse meals. My son loves them So I say to my son, I will take you to the theater and the multicourse fancy dinner. Then, it’s “we left him out. When he’s come, complaining, miserable, moody …the last time he wound up in the car pretending to be sick. But still, we’re “leaving him out.” 😑.

and make every interaction with his friends turn into an accusation against me later that somehow someway I was trying to do something with them to the point i let him go do everything without me so he gets to come home and tell me how much fun he had and how much he needed some time out with friends. while i had to beg and cry about my freedom being taken away just to visit with a childhood friend one time and i had to take my 9yr old to watch me.
