Mine asked if the hell is a curse word and my mom said, “Well it’s a place”, at which point I jumped in and said, “Yes, it’s a place in Christian mythology, kind of like the Underworld in Greek and Egyptian mythology”. It got real quiet after that 😅

sadly I can’t flex this anymore because his father is now a born again Christian and immediately taught our son about the devil and hell and demons, and gave him nightmares from it! now my son is upset at ME for not going to church. brainwashing starts young. idk what to even do anymore.

I hate to think already how many fights i will have with my mother if i ever have children because for sure my children will not go to church, pray with them, hear anything about hell or about christianity as a one true religion so I will never be able to leave my child alone with my parents

my extremely religious friend in 3rd grade told me about sin and hell. I cried for weeks and i was terrified. If you're gonna indoctrinate your kids they're gonna tell what they learn from you to the other kids at school
