@waltermasterson: This is what the industry wants. They want us fighting over details while they slip their Save Our Bacon into the Senate version of the Farm Bill.
Here is what I love. One creator I respect made a video where he got some stuff wrong. Another creator I live that happens to be an expert in those areas corrected the first creator. The first creator learned from the exchange and corrected the record. Huge props to both men.

He’s intelligent to the point that it’s scary. I love his content, but I would never want to be corrected by him.

So, states can decide if they want to punish women with death as punishment for having a uterus, but they can't decide what is inhumane farming. 🤔

California has high standards for our animal welfare. I hate that companies are trying to override our decisions

I'm not a farmer, I don't know how it's done, but if I'm asked I'd very much like it to be as humane as possible and if that increases the cost of meat then I'm ok with that because it's Life

As a neurodivergent, I appreciate you normalizing wrinkled shirts straight out of the "probably clean" laundry pile.

Not only is animal cruelty in the meat industry bad for the animals, and is reprehensible on a moral level, but it often times less sanitary, it is much disgusting. People have to work in those conditions. Other ethically dubious farming practices, like shoving thousands of cows into large cattle pens, has been linked to multiple food contamination outbreaks, like many of the e-coli contaminated lettuce recalls in recent years have come from waste runoff from cattle farms.

animals should not be contained in any gd thing that they can't fully move around in for any length of time. pigs on any farm ive ever been on (grew up on a farm and have been on hundreds) raised their litters just fine.

Look up the Clarkson Ring. It's a patent Jeremy Clarkson made that's a humane thing for pigs to live in with better conditions and it prevents them from crushing their babies.
