I took a biology of aging class and a big theme amongst the elderly was wishing they had more s*x when they were younger due to constricting themselves. We unfortunately don’t have forever to enjoy our bodies while they work well.

People who embrace purity culture are doing it because they have a sense of dignity. But the problem is that they’re confusing dignity with “peer pressure” they’re only practicing purity because everyone else is doing it and they don’t wanna feel left out

everyone’s a martyr these days simply because being a victim is an easy way to draw attention to oneself. it’s all narcissism. being holier than thou pacifies their incessant need to be treated as christlike as possible because they’re deeply unhappy people who lack any kind of real purpose or passion. everything is policed so heavily so they can feel good about putting away the bad guys because that’s all they know how to do: drawing black and white assumptions in their fight vs good and evil except everyone else is evil and they’re joan of arc falling onto a hundred swords all at once. when did we get to be such parrots? such sexless puritans with zero backbone and no dirt under their fingernails. it’s sad.
