Bleach relies the most on interpretation, symbolism, and deep psychological or existential themes. This is why many hate on it. The theological ides go beyond the shonen fare. and I'd say Ichigo is the most relatable and grounded of the Big 3 because he doesn't have that grand goal like tear down the system or destroy the old world, he is trying to save and protect the people while they are on the wheel of life (reference to Samsara)

"Ichigo has no writing" Ichigo is a character that discovers himself as the plot advances... writing isn't always backstories with a clear goal coming from it. what makes characters that discovers themselves throughout the plot good is they're immersive, we discover at the same time as the character itself

Bleach is my top 3 favorite animes, maybe top 1. But ichigo as an mc is just decent. Most of his complexity comes from his dynamic with white and old man zangetsu. Majority of development happens before soul society arc. For example, he learned that protecting people was not an excuse to throw his own life away (an idea he probably developed because his mother died to protect him when he was younger). There's not much after that. He simply wants to protect the people around him.

not gonna write an essay explaining my argument. but bleach as a whole is already a greatly written anime. it is similar to AOT in a way that it doesnt require individually very well written characters to be great. i dont consider ichigo to be a widely complex or deep MC in comparison to others like lelouch, eren or okabe. ichigos character is good undoubtedly, has great depth and development but he isnt the best part of bleach's writing.

i love how in normal shonen they train, fight the enemy, and then win and then boom next enemy but like a lil later ichigo completely loses his powers, cool twist on things
