I’ve come back to this clip because I’m trying to find an old Indian movie; I can’t recall the title, but the plot goes like this (as far as I remember): a man is accused of r*ping a woman (I believe she was a school teacher who committed su*c*de), even though he hadn't done it; nevertheless, he was convicted and cast out of the community. His wife chose to leave with him, knowing she would face the same punishment (without receiving any help whatsoever)... The judge wore a long shawl draped over his shoulders, and whenever he made a crucial decision-one that no one dared to challenge-he would make a specific gesture: he would toss one end of the shawl over his other shoulder... Can anyone tell me the name of this movie?🙏 I’ve been looking for it for such a long time...
