I started landscaping at 16 at a country club at 16 working 7 days a week for 3.15 an hour, ive been in construction my entire life, went to college (automotive program as I love to work on vehicles) been through 2 trade schools (machinist training, and tractor trailer training for my class A) i drive dump truck now but have done roofing, siding, windows, doors,etc.. had my own handyman business for years, never had a 200,000 dollar student debt, I made more money (and still do) then most of the kids I grew up with in high school that thought they were better then me because they came from money, refused to go to a high school reunion and was asked dont u wanna know what your president of high school is doing now, no, I know what he is doing, he is making 16 dollars an hour working for someone else mowing my lawn !!!!

I’ve never seen it as a “bad route” because some people don’t like to sit in a classroom and that’s OK cause a construction worker is a hard working man who’s wanting to provide for our loved ones plus you build some true camaraderie within the trades so I see it as a positive not a negative keep on preaching!

people dont know that trades make$$$$. fuck college learn a trade!!!! I made 70k a year as an apprentice back in 90s!!! now my apprentice makes 3k a week bring home $$$

And another thing , if you get into construction you don't have a gazillion $$ worth of student loans. What these students pay in loans could have been a deposit on a house. Love from Australia 🦘🦘🦘.
