It censorship is such a slippery slope. For example, people in China mass reported an RPF fanfiction on AO3 and instead of that specific fic getting taken down like they wanted, the CN government banned the whole site. No one wins in these situations.

what if, hear me out here. ao3 had a mechanism where you could request a peice of media be taken down and censored because it violated your morals or whatever and the second you made that request the ao3 servers banned you from ever being able to access ao3 again. idk how it would work but I think we should at least consider it
