@priyabiss1: This is our 16th(!!) flight with our now 2 year old and some people dread the thought of travelling with kids but honestly we love it! The more experience you get, the easier it definitely becomes. Top tips with a 2 year old: 1. Try and nap before a flight. Ours is too overstimulated on the actual plane to fall asleep on the chair. 2. Let them run around the airport before hand! You’ll all want the break when you sit on the flight. 3. Their own seat is a game changer. 4. Take ‘travel’ toys that they’ve not seen in a while or are new. We took 2 new sticker books that kept him entertained for ages. 5. Make snack packs fun - so they actually eat. Put them in a compartmentalised snack box they’ll love mooching around the box and will eat things they usually don’t! 6. If nap times / lunch times / dinner times don’t to go plan, don’t worry they’re completely out of routine and so are you. The more you stress, the more you’ll stress about the journey and it’s not enjoyable for anyone. 7. Book your seats. Ryanair make you pay to reserve seats - ie they don’t automatically sit you next to your family. I ended up sitting 14 rows behind until someone offered to swap with me. 8. Go with it! Keep calling it an adventure, they’ll be so excited. #toddlermum #travelwithkids #parentsontiktok
