@elaina.baliner: what to do when you have inflammation soup between your tissues Tuckey et al. 2021 (interstitial inflammatory stasis and chronic pain mechanism) DOI 10.3389/fpain.2021.691740 Liao et al. 2011 (inflammatory cytokines inhibit lymphatic pump contraction via iNOS/nitric oxide) PMID 22065738 #nervoussystemregulation #somatichealing #interstitum #fascia #inflammation
Would be interesting to see how this relates to Lipedema!

You say that the lymphatic system gets obstructed from chronic stress and sedentary lifestyle. My question is what is someone supposed to do if they are chronically ill and it forces sedentary lifestyle and dysautonomia? I feel like a snake eating its own tail because I have ME/CFS which forces me to be primarily bed bound and sedentary and my nervous system and so fried from pushing myself, so how can I help my lymphatic system while still limited by my inability to do high movement etc.

Please never stop making these videos! I am a physical therapist always looking to provide more, especially chronic pain, and the way you describe and teach is so well done. I learn so much from these

My Lymphatic OT says because of lipedema I have thicker fluid like you were talking about with inflammation soup. Do you know anything about how to reduce this in people with lipedema. Would this help? LOVE your content btw

Strain/counter strain is GREAT! I’ve had it done in several areas by a manual therapist. As a massage therapist, he taught me how to do it as well so I could help clients.

This sounds amazing for people with complex regional pain syndrome since their brain tells them they are still in danger from the injury at least for type 2 crps cuz their nerves are always inflamed and burning

What is irritation in novioceptors feel like? Is it a conscious pain or subconscious? I have a pain that is like a dull ache between my shoulder blades. It’s pretty dull, so I don’t notice it moment to moment in everyday. But when I am fascia aware (usually with meditation and molecules), the painful area becomes absolutely unignorable. weirdly, dancing makes it feel better for a time.

What are your thoughts on people who suffer with what you are describing but have EDS/HSD so their muscles are chronically tight due to loose ligaments. Does that change results of this treatment?
