@val.talks.military: Refuelling at sea, also known as Underway Replenishment (UNREP) or Replenishment at Sea (RAS), is a precise naval operation where a supply ship (fleet oiler) transfers fuel to another vessel while both are moving at speed. It allows military task forces and aircraft carriers to remain deployed indefinitely without returning to port.

This is AI. There is no 1st LT in the Navy. It’s LT junior grade and then just LT. Also, it’s not rare. Refueling is common and should be done routinely.

First of all, 2 bars in the navy is a Lt, not a 1st LT, in fact the navy HAS no first LTs. Secondly, a underway refuel is quite common, Every couple of weeks if you're flying alot.
