Huh? A business degree doesn’t specifically teach you how to run a business. It’s a broad field with a variety of career paths in finance, accounting, marketing, management, supply chain, commercial banking, consulting, HR, etc. Learning how to operate a business is just one possible focus, not the entire purpose of a business degree.

This is such an uneducated take and I hate seeing people spread this misconception. You don’t need a business degree to run a business, correct. But that isn’t the only career path for a business major. I know so many successful men and women making 6 figures with their business degrees working as a data analyst, business analyst, project manager etc etc. not everyone is getting a business degree for entrepreneurship, if you are then yes that’s 1000% a waste. But if you’re getting a business degree to work a successful corporate job it’s a great degree and a lot of room to make a lot of money.

tbh i got an associates in business and am a business owner and i gained a ton of knowledge from college that i use in owning and operating my business. it’s not a scam and is useful.
