My best friend of almost 15 years, we didn't speak for a year and it was genuinely the worst year of my entire life. I literally cried almost every day. Started speaking again about 6 months ago and it is not the same but still so much better than not having her in my life... she "jokingly" begged me the other day to never break up with her again, we're both traumatized from our time apart 💀 it really is that serious.
