There are 2 screws on for the gear oil bottom one is drain+fill top one is check level+vent you normally have to fill it from the bottom

You can drain the lower unit oil by the small screw on the lower unit. It should be a flathead, then should be a higher fill hole with a flathead

That leg is too long for the hull, you won’t plane out. You need to jack it up to get one plane

It’s a long shaft it won’t go that fast if I was you get a 15 horse with a short shaft they go 20/30 mph

There is two flat head screws in the lower unit pull the top one and oil should nearly come out when the motor is level
