@armin.phys1o: Hip Pain and Stiffness? It Could Be Hip Osteoarthritis. Hip osteoarthritis is a condition where the cartilage that cushions your hip joint gradually wears down over time. As the joint changes, it can become painful, stiff, and less mobile, making everyday activities more difficult. Common signs and symptoms include: ✅ Deep pain in the groin, front of the hip, or buttock ✅ Stiffness, especially first thing in the morning or after sitting for long periods ✅ Pain when walking, climbing stairs, or getting in and out of a car ✅ Reduced hip mobility, making it difficult to squat, cross your legs, or put on shoes and socks The good news? Exercise is one of the most effective treatments for hip osteoarthritis. Research consistently shows that improving strength, mobility, and function can reduce pain, improve quality of life, and help you stay active. 💪 Try the exercises in this video: ✅ Perform 3 sets of 10–15 repetitions ✅ Move slowly and with control ✅ Stay within a comfortable range—mild discomfort is okay, but sharp pain is not ✅ Challenge yourself while maintaining good form Strengthening your glutes, hip abductors, quadriceps, and core helps improve the way your hip absorbs force, reducing stress on the joint during everyday activities. Combining strengthening with mobility exercises can also help reduce stiffness and improve movement. Whether your goal is to walk farther, get back to golf, hike, play with your kids, or simply move with less pain, the right exercise program can make a significant difference. I find these exercises do help relieve somewhat n it also stems from the lower back ; if I stretch my lower back it seems to improve n when I walk I am able to take bigger strides n no or less restriction 😅🙏🏻 I suffer from osteoporosis in my hips n slight osteo arthritis 😢 physio says I’m much too young to have this severity of low bone density … trying to preserve as much as I can🙏🏻🙏🏻 thanks for the exercises!👏🏻👏🏻💖
