@randi__neal: Part 1 of this series 👀 Biting off more than I can chew but figuring out how to chew it anyways 😅 So we found a crack in the foundation behind the cabinet mid-reno and just… had to gut the whole thing. Wasn’t the plan. But that’s renovating I guess — you think you know what you’re walking into and then the walls just tell on themselves. Not gonna lie, it’s been stressful. Late nights, the budget creeping up, finding stuff we had no idea was even there. But honestly I keep coming back to this — I get to do this for my mom. I get to be the one helping build something better for her. That’s not lost on me at all. So blessed doesn’t even cover it. Huge shoutout to my ride or die @riseofadam through all of this 🙏 he’s been teaching me as we go, hands on with everything, and we haven’t fought once this whole time. Not once. Maybe flipping properties is in our future lol. It’s a lot right now, ngl. But I know when it’s all done, every crack and every headache is gonna be so worth it.
